NORMAL (Oct. 23, 2010)—These are rush photos from the marching band festival at the football stadium, Illinois State University. Photos will be presented as they are prepared, with each batch containing a class. These are from Class 4A: Argo Community High School, Wheeling High School, Plainfield North High School, Lincoln-Way North High School, Romeoville High School, Normal West High School, and United Township High School. Because of a 2.5-hour weather delay in Class 3A, this class stepped off at about 2:15 p.m., instead of the scheduled 11:47 a.m. Performances are noteworthy for unique solo instruments, including an oboe, and an electric violin-electric cello duet.
